HedgeOp Compliance (2006)

HedgeOp Compliance, LLC focuses exclusively on helping hedge fund managers meet their compliance and operational challenges. HedgeOp asked us to redesign their existing product, ComplianceTrak, based on a more modern look and additional features. Although we had many different types of financial applications under our belt, this was our first hedge fund specific application. As with many of our clients, we begin with researching the industry, marketplace, and current user-base to determine how to best design the product. During the design phase we had to incorporate many additional features and updated branding. Once the frameworks design was established, we developed design patterns that could be used throughout the rest of the application. Design patterns serve as functional style-guides, and are especially useful for applications that consistently use similar components. Upon finalizing all of the frameworks and design patterns, we coded the presentation layer for all screen designs.
