Scenechronize (2008)

Scenechronize is a web-based project management and scheduling application for the film industry. We work on many different types of applications, but this was both one of the most fun and challenging. To begin, we started by examining many of the visual metaphors that have existed in Hollywood for over 100 years, and figuring out how to translate these elements into an application. The Scenechronize was very precise in terms of feedback and knew exactly what they wanted, which made working with the team extremely efficient when it came to the iterative design. Once the visual designs were complete, we worked closely with the Scenechronize team to make sure that the front-end code reflected our designs as close as possible. As often happens in development, once the functional prototype was launched, we performed a usability audit, iterative design, and finished the project with a style guide to make sure our design was scalable going forward.
