VantageILM (2006)

VantageILM is an on-demand loan management solution that integrates origination, servicing, collections, recovery management, analysis & reporting, document management, collateral management and accounting into one platform. VantageILM contacted us to help with the conversion of their installed client into a web-based client, for a more rapid deployment of their platform to a wider customer base. The conversion of the platform onto the web involved redesigning the entire user-interface using modern design metaphors.

We started the project with a User-Interface Anaylsis, whereby we analyzed the current application and identified where the pain points were. As well, this allowed us to create a much more streamlined information architecture, whereby many screens were consolidated, and many secondary functions appeared in context, only as needed. The design phase began with wireframing the major screens of the platform. Once these initial wireframes were finalized, we moved on to designing the rest of the application. Upon reaching a finalized wireframe design, we then applied a visual aesthetic or “skin” to the application, based on the VantageILM branding, before going to code. After completing and debugging the front-end code, we provided VantageILM with design documentation outlining the specifics of how all the UI elements were integrated.
