"We had a very out-of-the-box product that needed much creative thinking to blueprint and design. David and his team (at Momentum) were able to take our ideas, sort them, and present us with a number of iterations to involve us in the process. They balanced UI functionality and aesthetics very nicely."

VaultStreet (2007)

VaultStreet, a product developed by Docuthentic, helps users better manage their financial statements by storing electronic versions in a secure web-based location. This project was quite extensive and thorough in terms of process. As with other projects, we helped Docuthentic first develop the logo and branding for their target demographic. With the branding in place, we presented some wire frame concepts for the VaultStreet application and worked through a series of iterations to finalize them. From the finalized wire frames we began the visual design process to give the product a sophisticated aesthetic, and design many of the internal components of the application.

From the visual designs we created a visual prototype and began usability testing to verify the design. As with all of our usability sessions, the findings were very valuable, which we then documented and presented to the VaultStreet team. We used the findings to address design changes in the iterative design phase. Once the iterative designs were complete, we converted the designs into W3C compliant HTML/CSS/JS for implementation in the product development.

In addition to developing the web application, we worked concurrently with the VaultStreet team to create a marketing website. From presenting visual concepts, to component designs, to HTML/CSS production; we worked closely with VaultStreet to make sure that the finished website was exactly what they were looking for.
