As I listened to an artificial intelligence thought leader boast about reducing their workforce by 40% with OpenAI's ChatGPT GPT-4, I couldn't help but wonder if we're prioritizing the benefits of AI over its impact on people. Are these the kind of role models we should look up to as we navigate the future of work? Artificial intelligence promises staggering potential to transform business and society. But as artificial intelligence rapidly matures, business leaders stand at a pivotal juncture. Will we harness AI's immense capabilities to enrich experiences and amplify human potential? Or deploy it recklessly in ways that degrade dignity and trust?
